Come explore the village with Meghan on this guided creative workshop in the heart of Gordes.
We will forage for botanical elements to inspire the creation of individual silver charms. Each participant will enjoy a curated moment in one of the most beautiful villages in Provence with me, a local artist and resident. You will leave with special handmade silver charm to commemorate your visit, a souvenir of a gorgeous & creative moment spent together, marvelling in the wonders of Provence.
The workshop begins with a meet-up at my Gordes village studio at 9:30am (aim to be 15mins early if possible), then we stroll the village, to some of my favorite out of the way spots to find our inspired botanical elements (approx. 45 mins). Upon our return we dive into the exploration of jewelry making during a 2 hour practice resulting in our lovely charm creations. Class size accommodates up to 8 guests. Refreshing beverages & light snacks provided. Guests whom want to wear their new charm home are welcome to see the selection of silver chain necklaces & bracelets available for purchase in studio.

Jewelry Care
Jewelry Care
To care for each piece, jewelry should always be stored in a box or cloth pouch when not worn. This will help reduce tarnish and protect it from damage. For general cleaning, an old toothbrush and warm soapy water can remove residue. I recommend removing my jewelry before swimming or showering.
Sterling silver care:
Pieces can be dipped clean in a silver tarnish remover like Hagerty or Tarnex dips. It's important that pieces are immediately rinsed with warm soapy water and dried to remove product residue. A polishing cloth can be used but is best only for shiny silver as it will shiny and remove any matte surfaces on my pieces.
Oxidized silver care:
These pieces will age with use. You may find the patina gets shiny and silver edges peek through. This is normal and to be expected. To maintain the oxidized finish only cleaning with a polishing cloth or a combination of warm soapy water and a soft toothbrush are recommended.
Fabric care:
The Duo Duet collection is made with a suede-like fabric. Should it become stained, this allows for it to be spot cleaned with a gentle soap and tepid water. Allow to air dry. Protect these pieces from direct sun light when not in use. It's best they are stored in a container that allows ample room to not crush the gentle folds.
